On a nice break from work a few of us walked over to the Pyramid Alehouse just south of downtown Seattle. I knew their menu had been updated recently to feature gluten free hamburger buns from wheatless in Seattle.

After we were seated I double checked on the availability since I’ve been striking out here and there. The waitress was quick to confirm they indeed had gluten free hamburger buns. Bacon cheeseburger it is!

Soon I found myself grinning with delight a few bites in. I had been to pyramid in the past with little to choose from. The burger was good. The bun was ok. It was a little dense. Ultimately having the option to eat with coworkers without having to stick with salad was a great feeling. On the menu I also noted that they offer a gluten free pizza with a crust also from wheatless in Seattle. Now when you go to Safeco field to see the mariners you have even more gluten free options in the vicinity.
